So, as a nurse, we have been known to devour our young.  I have worked in ER's for a long time and I have noticed the exact opposite in this atmosphere.  Other departments have a little different story, but in the Emergency Department, although we may talk junk about each other, we will not allow anyone else to come in and talk about our young ones.
